Can we talk about Dollo for a quick second? In true Henrik style, he has kind of gone off the radar and appears to be in Andora, absolutely crushing a little rail park. Looks like they have even named that place Henrik Harlaut Snow Park - that is how hard he is crushing it.

Based on his IG, it looks like he started the season skiing a line made up of a box and two small flat rails. He then showed up in Breck for Dew Tour and taught everyone how to ski. Went to NYC to get some inspiration from Nas. And is now back in Andora destroying mellow rail lines and having what appears to be a blast. Meanwhile, the rest of the Olympic field is freaking out about making teams and training tricks on huge jumps. Not Dollo though... he is doing 450 disasters and is super stoked about it! I bet he gets Gold in Seoul.

I also want to mention a shot that he got in Stubai this past fall. Tall T Productions posted it on their IG, but I haven't seen it anywhere else.

It's possibly the illest dub ever done.... cork 9 blunt to switch rodeo 9 blunt? Idk, the way he dips into the second dub is not cork. Its such a fucked up trick.

The dude always blows my mind. Shows up in Stubai and does shit like that. Shows up at Dew Tour and blows the field away. Outside of that stuff, he is just chilling and having fun. Such a G!!!

but yeah henrik is unreal haha

Yeah, it's a dub 16. I am just saying the way he does it (cork 9 to switch flat 7?) is so fucked up.

I don't know what you're seeing, but it looks like a pretty text-book (if there is such a thing) dub 16. he comes back on axis after 720, linked into a cork 9. but maybe I'm a pea-brain and not seeing it right. to me, the second angle is most telling.

I doubt he would be in the same mindset if he was a US citizen or another country w/ an abundance of Olympic ski doodz

You're probably right. That said, he will likely podium, not "just" make the team so it's still crazy

Right. Because Sweden doesn’t have an abundance of slope competitors.

I don't think so. He does cork 7, but then instead of dipping back down right away where most people would, he spins a 3 on axis before dipping down again.

I am seeing what Crispy. is seeing.

In my opinion, a "text-book" dub 16 would be cork 7 into cork 9. Here is a decent reference:

At :42, Gus is spinning into 7, his axis evens out, and then he dips into a super front flippy 9.

What Henrik did is very different. In my opinion, it didn't look like he started to dip into the second cork until he was at 9. Instead of flipping into it like Gus does, he more of backflips/rodeo/flat spins into it. I don't know how to describe it, I have never seen an axis like that.

He does a cork 9, you can pause and see that at 9 he is not at all corked or anything, has no axis. It isn't until he is going from 9 to 10 that he takes the second dip, and its like a very blind switch flip.

Again, I don't really know how to describe it, but I am saying it is a true cork 9 blunt into a switch flat 7 blunt. It is also worth noting that he held the blunt through 1440 and stomped the shit out of the trick.

Dollo is King.

agree to disagree, but this is paralysis by analysis.

Not saying they're absent of skiers but... most of them are still on the come up. obv there's wester & tjader though

I was thinking the same thing today. He just showed up to dew tour and fucked shit up. Now with the Olympics coming up he's just cruising a rail park having a good time while the rest of the competition are training hard every day. I would love to see him win the Olympics.

Definitely just a dub 16 blunt, one of the best ones ever done at that. No need to try to make it more complicated than that

Who cares what it was exactly. It was smoking, so go smoke a blunt and chilax! Ye Haw.

Yea, I know you guys really do care. It's all good.

Dude is a legend. Would love to shred with him.

Who wouldn't want to shred a bud with Henrik. I'm with you there.

I have met a few "legend's", but not met him ......yet. I did see him years back at a Sammy C Invitational at Bachelor two seasons in a row.

I think he signed a suit for my Lovely. She has a way that I just don't have. Go figure!

Lol I was talking about you man! But, would also love to ride with Henrik.

He sausages out the second part of the corkery. Instead of spinning through the cork he spins and drops into the cork. That's why it looks so different.

And for those of you who are always fascinated with ways people can do moves in the air I suggest giving this a view. You can see similarities to certain ski jump tricks people are doing now.
