I remember back in 2008 when everyone made fun of so called 'gapers' who wore out of date ski gear.

Well here we are 15 years on and style has come and gone once again. A french kid whose dad came up off a champagne company dressed in baggy clothes and a doo rag getting literally laughed at by black kids in his own video while hes trying to be cool hitting urban in bum fuck Scranton, PA or some other shithole.

Its OVER dawg, go home and get a fucking haircut and some normal ass pants.

Henrik is the new gaper straight up.

 
This post is next level moronic. On top of that, being a "gaper" never had anything to do with the clothes you wore, it was based on the way you skied. People could really care less about a goggle gap but when you use lips for rails as side hits and pizza through every takeoff and landing your gonna get called out.

I'd love to see some of your shots so we can compare...

Normal pants ? What is wrong with the baggy look it’s been around for awhile (in other sports) but baggy pants just takes sking on to a way better level of style
 
Stupid post but i agree on the doo rag. Shit is hella cringe to wear as a white person and i doubt Henrik wears it to protect his hair.

1. you shouldn’t have enough time to dog on someone else’s style. Go get better with your own style and ski instead

2. You broke one of the number one rule in skiing brother never fuck with henrik. He’s a legend and paved the way for so many.

3. Henrik’s style is in matched obviously it got him somewhere or else he wouldn’t be a big enough skier for u to even talk about

4. if you don’t like his style personally I believe instagram is a better place for you, there’s a couple more Montec/dope snow type kids on there for you to talk to.

I mean look at how Glenn Plake was around the early 2000’s - that dude did more for skiing than Harlaut by a mile and had an eccentric style. But it was a style that was almost 20 years in the past at the time.

Henrik is just a French guy larping as a 90’s hood rat at this point, and it looks gaper as fuck. His style is 20 years in the past now.

Sense of time is a little off too lol. Glen Plake blew up in the late 80s. No wonder the style in License to Thrill seemed outdated by 20 years in the 2000s… because it was.

henrik's style isnt my cup of tea anymore, but when u can ski like that, u can wear whatever tf u want lmao..... im glad he cut the dreads off tho fr. The thug shit he does in his edits is pretty cringe too, i can attest to that.

henrik is a solid dude tho and 100% has the best intentions with his wigganomics.

i fanned out on him and Tanner back in the day at hood when i was like 14, henrik was super chill, THall was agro asf. so henrik gets my respect for not clowning on me asking for autographs and shit in the T-Line parking lot with his boys. He gave me hella monster stickers, and smelled loud asf. Definitely one of the cooler pros ive met

would u rather have him in a montec kit ?

yeah i fucked with him heavy in middle/high school, but as ive aged, ive begun to realize how corny a majority of pro skiers are in the general scheme of things.

he makes a lot of money tho, so i dont think he'll be switching up styles anytime soon. he has his place cemented in free skiing as a legend as well.

ive got nothing but respect for him honestly, even if i think his steez is corny / not for me. He's out there being himself not giving a fuck what we have to think of him, and making bank doing so.

Back in like 2013-2015 I really digged Henriks style bc he looked and skied like absolutely nobody else, at least that I knew of. I guess it is a byproduct of his own success, but now there are many Henrik lookalikes and the kit just isn't as fresh to me anymore, but that's just my opinion.

I'll always enjoy how he skis though, that will always shine through, even if he starts skiing in a Bogner fartbag and makes edits to Dua Lipa
