Henrik Harlaut Dew Tour run

anyone have b-dog's run, i wanna see that too! but SICK still i love them both, so stylish and gangster

B dog did really poorly unfortunately. I wanted him to do well so bad. I saw him knuckle the last jump on his last practice run then run 1 he washed out on the 2nd jump and on his 2nd run he landed the 3rd jump but not well, hence why he placed 12th. I think he was having a bad day. But dooooo looooove casabon!!

Also, hopefully someone just uploads the footage because my description was pretty bad. :(

Everyone needs to stop their complaining. Henrik got a very high score for this run, that just goes to show how high the level of competition is. 3 dubs is going to overtake 2 100% of the time, think about it. What's a more difficult trick, a switch 9 or a dub 10?

That was easily the cleanest first (non switch) double rodeo I've seen. Props Henrik. Safeties are so Pollard though....

I said it in the other thread, but I'll say it again. He didn't have clean landings, and he didn't have enough dubs. I think henrik has gotta know this, as it happens every single time he competes. I thought we had gotten over this. Henrik doesn't seem to give a shit, so neither should we. But to be honest I would have stopped competing by now if I were him and just focused on video parts.

nahhh... if you believe like I think a lot of us do that Sochi will be won by a run that includes multiple triples, he's doing just fine. I believe he could have tripled that third hit with practice, and he just looks out of this world in control on everything else- and I don't even know how to deal with that double rodeo or whatever that was, sky is the limit for him in the next few years.

The run was sick, but 3 safety grabs isn't difficult enough to take the podium. I'd love to see more riders adopt his creativity on rails.

haha. we shall see. we've never had olympic motivation before and the millions of dollars that could come with it.

that was so fucking sick. dude just oozes progression. and the throwback ar5 graphics are so sick, if i skied for armada i'd insist all my skis had the original ar5 graphics too

i wish they judged based on style/level of diffuculty rather than just level of difficulty.

Well I am certainly glad henrik doesn't have your pessimistic outlook on life then....

I don't understand your insolent "not enough dubs claim." The only non-dub was a sw right 9 oozing with style. We've seen wallisch win other stops with sw right 9's in his runs so I fail to see your point. If henrik cleaned up the first rail and last jump it would have been full of podium potential. Win or not i'm stoked the public gets to see some fresh and different styles of our sport on national tv. It would be a shame if everyone who wasn't a comp robot quit like you're suggesting

I think he could win if he basically went more for technicality, which he is obviously good enough to bring to competition. But he and Casabon sometimes forget the difference between competitions and getting filmed, the judges would rather see spin it to win it over steeze any day. But that's not to say they don't want style and flow, there is a fine medium that you need to find between them.
