Hemel Price reduction?

Thinking of heading off to Hemel for a Friday session soon, looking at the prices and it is pretty damn expensive. I know if you're a member with ski club uk you get 55% off hemel membership but during term time I'm down in Portsmouth so would be pointless. I only go hemel during the summer but I remember last year (or maybe 2 years ago) they did a group package for a the 3rd? Thursday/Friday of the month, being a tad cheaper, do they still do that?

Will I have to pay £45 for a 4 hours session? :/

As far as I remember, if you're going for freestyle you don't get any offers (apart from member prices, if you're a member).

In the past I've booked online paying membership prices as a non member then using the code (in the confirmation email) you're given on the fast check-in machines. I have done it twice with nobody questioning it. As I haven't been for a while, I don't know if you're still able to do this however.

You guys found a loophole in the snow centre, sounds a little dodgey and plus gonna go with a couple friends so don't want to risk it. Might just do it myself and keep it quiet to the others. cheers for the help guyys +k for you.

Me being supremely lazy here. How much is the Hemel membership anyways? Just to gauge whether its worth it or not?

£90 for us students

That's more than a fifth of the price of an epic pass, just to put things into perspective...

Correctly me If I'm wrong, you save 30% as a member or can save 20% booking online. So only 10% off for £130.

I only go every so often so haven't bothered joining. I'm new to it all, I have a bright orange helmet and the oldest afterbangs you will ever see, say hello and tell me what I'm doing wrong

I dont ski nearly enough at one particular snowdome to warrant that kind of cash flow as i essentially split between cas and hemel. they really take you for everything you own don't they!

Also, do any of you guys used the train to hemel? I've decided to go and bought a train ticket for next week (1st of august) but only after realised the rush-hour clash with the train. I'm going on the London midlands train from Euston train form Harrow weald.

Carrying all my gears with me, only be a 14 minutes train journey but should I expect the worst?

Never used the train to get to Hemel. The slope did use to run a "taxi" service, free one at that, from the train/bus station. I don't know if it is still in service. You may want to ring beforehand.

If you want, I can pick you up from the station this Friday, as I'm going that night for a small petrol charge, and I'll drop you back off at the station afterwards (if you're doing the full 4 hours).

Fair enough, ah thanks for the offer but I've already sorted out with my friend that'll pick me up from the station. I'll see you on the slopes I guess, keep an eye out for an asian guy with last years k2 domains..
