hey guys

I ask you as a last hope to solve a problem on the only move that I can do for now: the usual 360. I read everything there is on the forum on the 3 but I haven't solved the problem.

when I see my video, I realize that I find myself always in half with my arm rotating contrary! This movement makes it difficult to complete well the rotation and start whit the grab.

what is wrong in the movement? perhaps in the initial stage i push with arms too upwards and not sideways? i've seen the video of T but i can't correct the error.

attach some frame of my video:

Sorry for my bad english AND PLEASE... HELP ME BECAUSE IN VERY VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME BEFORE I BECOME TOO OLD!!! thanksss!

Honestly, that was pretty solid man. If you're worried about your left arm trailing across your torso, that's suuuuuuuper common, and not really bad form. Best thing to do now is throw about 200 more of them.

Not bad fella, but try to use your core to pick up a bit more of the rotation. You prewind really well, but then when you release you kinda throw a lot of that force away by just letting your arms swing. That'll hold you back in terms of progressing to 5s etc.

If you use your abs to lock your core down as you unwind when you reach centre on your release (so when you're pointing forwards at the lip) and by doing so kinda stop your arms at centre, then your body will pick up all of the energy and you'll spin a lot cleaner and quicker, plus you won't have to counter-rotate your way around the second half.

To get the feeling of what I'm on about, try sitting on an office chair and trying to spin. If you just swing your arms you get about half the force, but if you lock your core you spin loads. Another thing that might help with the core part is to lightly punch yourself in the gut, as your core naturally clenches down to block the hit. Aim for the same feeling on the takeoff.

Hope that helps, it certainly did for me (as a fellow old git who still rides park).

a good trick is try and keep your arms at your side, almost in your pocket right after you take off no poles might help too

I do exactly the same thing on my threes haha, it hasn't really stopped me from progressing though, Ive done 3s with grabs and 5s with a similar set, so honestly you should be fine. Just keep practicing it, and it will get more natural as you go! Try taking it to bigger jumps as well, that might help
