HELP!!!!!

My name is Pat,Unfortunately, recently this year while i was skiing on my alpha 2's and my binding had ripped out of one my skis causing a pretty hectic scene. Anyways i came out unscathed but my skis did not, I had many shops look at these skis And all of them said that the skis were compromised. Hearing that the skis were destroyed was terrible.

But the reason why I'm reaching out to The ns community is that i am wondering if there is anyone out there who wants to help out a college student. Money is tight and the college grind is ruff not having enough money to obtain a new pair is killing me. Being A Colorado native you can understand that skiing is my ultimate escape. My love for the sport runs deep ever since my mom put me on those little skis at the age of 3, I have been shredding up those slopes. Skiing is my ultimate nirvana, I know this is a bland term because I guaranty I'm not the only person who has reached out to the ns community. If There is anyone out there who wants to help out , that would mean the world to me.

The bolts had rusted out and broke into my skis

HAHA, dude if i didn't go to school i would have the money, but if you had an idea how i could fix the skis that would be pretty dope.

Yo man i appreciate it there's a reason why i love ns and its due to people like you who support the sport and fellow skiers ideas and questions.

Start working more hours, buy less beer and you should be able to afford them. You can get used skis, even some new skis for pretty cheap.

You can figure something out without having to rely on other people. The whole poor college kid thing is a bullshit excuse, and 90% of the time those people are just lazy.

Yeah dude i work two jobs and hold down an apartment while going to school so i guess you can say the 90% is lazy. Dude i appreciate the info but not every kid is a lazy ass.

but seriously check out s/t ive seen some stuff under 100. not the best condition but if youre truly passionate its better than nothing

Then refer to the first paragraph. You can find new skis for $300 or used for less than $100. What is wrong with the ski that makes it unmountable?

Try to sell some things to make some extra cash, or pawn some items for the cash. Also, if you just need a short term ski to hold you over until you get new ones, remount those bad boys at +3 or +4 of the existing ones. If there only have one mount they should hold without an issue until the core completely rots. Also to prevent the enviable rot, you can slow it down by sealing it with industrial glue or anything of that nature. Good Luck mate.

What this guy said, fill the old holes with construction adhesive, mount bindings 2cm front or back of old holes,
