Do you mean new? I think $300 is pretty good for a highly breathable/water resitant jacket new.. For a new jacket, any less than $300 means there usually is a strict downgrade in material and performance.
I paid $350 on sale for my gore tex 3L pro..There are a bunch of last years jackets for under $200 around the web. Not gore tex, but still good performance. Dont skimp on ski jackets!
