Help with the name of an effect

It's the one when in a video, as the skier moves along a path of some sort, screenshots of him stay motion tracked behind him.

Kind of like this at :50 seconds

Sorry if this has already been asked but if anyone knows the name of this effect or a simple tutorial i would like you...alot
 
ITS A GODDAMN FILMBUR-

...oh, never mind. I cant really help you on that one. Looks like a lot of key framing and masking if you were in FCP.
