Help with smith holt size

first of all i no there was a thread i searched and found nothing.my head is 58cm. an XL smith holt is 60-62 and im going to wear a beanie under it will that be ok?
 
holts have two sets of pads. a real thin set and a thicker set, under the thin set you should be good to go
 
hmm i dunno man. i have a medium, and it fits my head when the thin pads are in. but then when i take the padding out, and wear a beanie and goggles under it, it also fits perfectly...
 
yeah. unless your beanie is super thick, or rediculously tall so theres extra fabric under there, you should be good to go.

i have a pretty big head (7 5/8 new era) and im pretty sure mine is a large and it fits fine. xl should be perfectly good
