Help with ski choice

i'm in the market for a new pair of sticks. i'm 5'6" 160 lbs about 90% park and 10% small trails and little trees lines but no pow. i've been riding on 154 or 156 nordica double sixes, they're a bit short for me and don't feel flexy enough for me. so i want a ski i can beat up in the park but will last a while.

i was thinking about liberty antigens through proforms i can get but i don't know the details. on the east coast b/s/t facebook thing i was offered slightly used 164 k2 revivals with marker schizos. it's not quite as long as i wanted but i'm thinking it'll be better to just get beater skis so i don't have to worry about them.

thoughts?

The revivals will be as stiff if not stiffer than the double sixes. I think you should go with something with a medium flex and a small price tag. I've been skiing Punx for a couple years and they've held up well. You can make the size decision because you have preferences. This is simply a suggestion, and there are other skis similar to these that you can look into.

i've seen tons of kids with punx and heard nothing but good things about them. do you have any idea what the antigens are like?

line TC in a 161 or afterbangs in 166 sounds like what you might need, both a mainly park skis and have good flex. TC is more durable tho.

yeah i've heard terrible stories of abangs and i'm thinking around 170. but i wanna get something used preferably

I'm 5'5'' and 140 and i ride 173, and 178. I can flat 3 my 173, so i suggest you go with a longer skier, especially if your taller an heavier than me. And for ski choice, you can't really go wrong with a good chronic haha. Personally I say buy Atomic punx because there amazing, with great flex yet very stable.
