Help with rails

I've been skiing for about seven years and just bought my first pair of twin tips, dynastar tm's, and I was wondering what advice you could give me on sliding rails. Thanks, any help would be awesome.

come on to the rail, and speed is your friend if its the first time trying a rail, but if its just a small rail (which I suggest trying first) then dont come on to the rail going mach 10. Ok so, once your on the rail, get your body weight centered and spread your feet shhoulder width apart. You can even lean a little bit forward if you like, that keeps me from falling on my ass/hip. And when you come out of the rail try not to start turning before the rail is finished, make it look you do the turning when the rail is gone.

The best advice would be to use the search bar and check out the other 23462363623532342343 posts about sliding rails.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

come into a low flat rail at a jogging pace, whatever you feel comfortable. pop onto the rail straight and keep your balance chances are u might fall backwards, so dont jump on and lean back. keep a low center of gravity and lean a little forward. just be confident and commit!

oh yeah? well me and my friends have been bathing off the southern coast of st. bards, chilling with spider monkeys. tripping on acid gave us a whole new perspective on shit.

twist 90 onto that rail with your skis apart a bit and keep your eyes looking down the rail you probably will fall a few times but usually its on your butt and it doesnt hurt. try sliding straight boxes first there easy to begin with thats how i started out but ya just look forward down the rail.

Thanks a bunch guys! I slid a 15 foot flat rail today, only got half way the first couple trys but by the end of the night I was sliding the whole thing and coming out clean, thanks for the help!

avoid the ride on rails that snowboarders use..they are gay.

You can't get hurt skiing until you fall

^^yah man, some of those are pretty deadly, keep away from thin ones for a while they suck if you fall hard
