My friends and I just set up a pretty sick backyard park and we have been wanting to do a rail jam for a while now. It's going to be pretty relaxed, but I just need to know a few things.

How does scoring for rails work?

How does scoring for jumps work?(Style and tricks)

What are some good and cheap prizes in the $50 and under range?

Of course +k for help and I searchbarred but couldn't find anything.

usually rail jams are based on overall impression, who lands the best tricks, is most consistant, is slaying every feature etc.

Just some clothing from different brands for prizes, or a gift card to a local ski shop or something. Also, see if your local shop will sponsor the jam.

Beanies, Skullcandy earbuds ($20 - $40), iTunes gift cards, Die cuts, Dakine Park/Pipe gloves ($35), Lift ticket gift card for a local mountain (My hill has them and they are only like $25), Balaclavas / Airhole facemasks / facetubes. Order a few Saga facetube packs?

I like when comps have a 'creativity' prize, and whoever colors outside the lines in the coolest way gets it.

Example: skip the approach and nollie onto the rail from the side or something yougetitnow
