Whenever i try to spin anything bigger than a 180 with a mute, I do the spin but cant get the mute in fast enough and i always end up doing it at the last minute. When i do flat mutes, i can stick em right away. not when i spin though. How can i put them together?

try and grab when you are at 180 (if you are doing a 360 or higher)

bring your knees up, and grab. but don't worry so much about the grab that you forget to spin, because then shit will be eaten.

the spin, cause if you don't get around your kinda fucked

just slowry try to work the grab in there

if you spin left make sure you grab left ski, and right ski if spiing right. its leading, and a lot easier. set your rotation first, and make sure you get your shoulders around. bring your ski to your hand, and grab it once you have a landing spotted. if your going for just a three, grab earlier i guess

i have the same problem, anything over 5 i don't even try to grab mute, i just do a tail or somthin.

but in rodeos mutes are like the most natural grabs along with criticals and japans.

When I was first learning them, I was hitting the lip basically on one ski, and jumping off that one ski to get the rotation. I dont recomend this style of spinning, because it is nearly impossible for me to get passed a 3 with it, however, it did help me get the grab and now I can do them spinning normally.\

So basically as you are hitting the lip, set the rotation, but also be bringing the grabbing ski up, I spin left, grab left. Youll be able to learn positioning and get the grab quick and hold it through.

I think someone had a sequence in a spyder ad that looks like they did it that way. I want to say maybe corey vanular? it was like a river gap and he was holding sticks instead of poles.
