Help with Mail on OSX

ok so I had about 1500 messages on my POP3 server and Mail (app) deleted the messages off of my server, I figured out why it deleted them
so my question is how can i put them from my Mac, back onto the POP3 server
anyone know, i tried google but haven't found anything yet

So you have the email on your mac and not the server? or Vise versa I am a little confused.

If they got deleted from a server i.e. you were on gmail and deleted them all from gmail.com I don't think you can restore the emails from your computer

What are you using?

they were on the POP3 mail server, but Mail deletes messages on the server after one week since theyve been downloaded to the computer
so how do i copy them back onto the server because other people have to access these emails from other computers
