Help with log and transfer in final cut express!!!!!!!!!!

OK when im in fce with my camera plugged in I got log and transfer and my camera with all my vids come up. Then when I click add to queue it starts uploading then an exlamation mark with a red circle thing around it comes up and stops uploading. Does anyone have this problem? How do i fix it? Also im recording on internal memory on a sony handycam.

Ive had this happen to me and i usually turn the camera off, unplug it, turn it on plug it back in, restart final cut and it fixes the problem.
 
well your issue might be what type of file you are trying to transfer, for my Handicam and GoPro its a MPEG file so it just logs nice and easy but i wouldn't know when using a panisonic
