Help with how tricks work

Hey, y'all, I've been struggling on how to figure what tricks are which based on axises, I'm talking about rodeos, corks, bios, mistys, flats. If you guys can teach/explain it to me then that would be awesome

Kids these days will do a backflip with a Japan grab and say its a flat 3.

Do a 3 but slightly lift a leg up like a dog pissing and boom you’ve now corked

Stomp it Tutorials has a rly good video explaining the difference between a rodeo and a flat spin, it’s also supposed to teach you how to do both. A misty is a forward set off axis spin there’s some overlap with those and bios, a cork is a more backwards set off axis spin

Ski addiction has videos showing most of these different axis, watching the how to cork 7 tutorial will probably help you understand what a cork is better than someone explaining it

Nevermind I found the thread. [tag=280561]@michaelmarchevsk[/tag] read this if you want it’s pretty on point https://www.newschoolers.com/forum/thread/221589/A-Trick-Guide-2--The-difference-between-bio--cork--d-spin--misty--rodeo--flatspin-and-underflip

nobody does d-spins anymore and underflips are almost exclusively in the pipe now but everything else is good

Watch all the old games of SLVSH, bc they'll call tricks, and then do them in front of you, so you'll know what a rodeo 7 is vs a cork 7 and etc etc

E-Dollo is hands down my favorite skier

that being said some of his orbital triple corks don’t seem to be very off axis. Still dope as fuck though

rodeo=more back flippy spinny

cork = more spinny back flippy

bio =more spinny front flippy

misty= more front flippy spinny

?

i'm gonna be told i'm completely wrong i think but here it goes:

cork is off axis spin not so flippy

--

and bio is the same but backwards rotating for cork and forward for bio

flat is basically off axis backflip

rodeo is cork but skis make it over your head/more flippy

---

misty is forward rodeo

also a kangaroo flip is a dub flat 9

Henriks triple with the high uncrossed mute is a perfect example of an orbital flatspin. Ski addiction has a video explaining the axis pretty well
