Help with front swaps

a lot of the time when I try front swaps I don't pull them all the way around, and sucks to do a 90 on a rail that is taller than my waist. any advice helps.

commit, the only reason you'd stop at 90 is because your head isnt looking towards 180. Dont look at your feet, look to where you are trying to spin

When you get on look at the end of the rail have your feet wide pull then together and it helps to think of trying to go to switch off the rail so it's like a buttered 2 out. Sorry if it doesn't make sense.

FS swaps can look cool if they are pat of a fluid trick I guess. Like fs swap to immediate 270 out. or the standard 270-fss-270. Or even switch on fs switch up on like a flat down.

Nothing looks worse than someone sliding a rail, looking forwards, and then doing like a 45 degree twister thing that somehow passes for a switch up. Doing a bs switch up feels so much better. It feels like you are actually doing a trick. Basically, like a fs 270 out, doing a fs switch up is not really adding anything cool to what you are doing, and usually is less stylish than just sliding the rail like you don't give a fuck.

just my opinion of course.

Keep your chest down. I found it gives you more control when doing swaps. Other than that just commit to getting your shoulders all the way around and your hips will follow.
