HELP WITH FRONT FLIPS

I'm thinking about throwing my first front flip soon at my local hill and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me? All I know is I go one foot in front of the other. Thanks

Not sure if you've done this yet, but I recommend trying it on an airbag first. I tried my first backflip on a park jump (because I didn't have access to an airbag) and I fucked my neck up pretty bad, and from what I've gathered, front flipping is a lot different on skis than on a trampoline.

Do NOT kick one leg back at least when you're first learning them. It will mess up your form and make them harder to do later. Also make sure not to look out to the side. It could cause you to land sideways and wreck yourself. Make sure you extend after popping on takeoff. Don't just tuck your head down. Good luck!

Just to clarify, so do the first attempt just popping off 2 legs like a tramp flip? Or dont kick 1 back, just almost step forward with 1 leg to pop so its still staggered?

Find a lippy af jump and just huck n' tuck, I've been doing this for the last three years and i have stomped every single one, including a double.

like keep your feet side by side. I know it might seem weird, but unless you're doing it off something really small or a knuckle, your best bet is to learn them without stepping foreword. Whatever you choose to do, do not look to the side. Pop, spot foreword, and tuck.
