Help with building my skis(shape)

well i have a friend who has a press and makes outerwear and skis. He asked me if I wanted to make a custom pair of skis with him and of course I said yes. It cost me 120$ for the materials and now we need to start designing and then building. I want your input on how to shape my ski. I plan on using them for touring and as my pow stick. I want to be able to use it off backcountry jumps as well. I want it to be close to symetrical. So what sidecut should i have and what rocker/camber and all that good stuff. Is there a ski out there that I should try and base mine off.

So overall any advise for how to shape my ski for my needs thanks

I would say look at the specs on one of your favorite skis and then change some stuff you don't to make it better.

I'd probably need more info to help you out very much, but my favorite powder skis to date have all been between 105mm - 120mm underfoot, sidecut radius>25m and had a rockered tip/tail, camber underfoot kind of design. Any wider/more rockery is just over kill for most of the time IMO. My past attempts at making skis have been feeble at best(vacuum bag), so I won't attempt to school you at all about actually building them, but good luck!

141/122/139, rocker/camber/rocker, mainly traditional sidecut but with a tiny but of taper for less hang up. 60% low rise rocker with 15% more in the tip than the tail so its a lil directional, 40% percent camber with 4mm height

144/126/138. Rocker/flat/rocker. Tapered tip & slightly less tapered tail.

this would be killer. im a fan of the rocker flat rocker profile. i personally would like symetrical rocker in the tip and tail, but that can lead to less when skinning. i also like around a 28 m turn radius

Can lead to less traction ^

Exactly why I modeled that with less tail rocker. That particular one has a 30 m turn radius with an elliptical side cut. It's sort of intended to be a deep snow charging ski

For in bounds and side country shredding I definitely want to make a version with symmetric tip and tail rocker as well as slightly more symmetrical taper and dimensions... Essentially the Jeffrey 122 haha.
