im about 115 pounds, and am an east coaster so i dont really get much pow. I need a good binding, that will stay together. i dont need a high DIN and i want the binding thats fairly light. BTW im riding suspects right now (hope they stay together)

please help

yeah, 120 means the max din is 12, 140 means the max din is 14 etc...
i just got new bindings, and i was considering the rossi 140's (found them mad cheep)http://www.backcountry.com/store/ROS0411/Rossignol-SAS2-Ti-140-Wide-Ski-Binding.html
i ended up going with the jesters, but i would recommend the griffins, if you can find them (i could only find jesters.)

griffons should be sick if you're not as aggressive, but you should look into jesters. expensive, but solid
and, you should be fine with px12s or sas 12s... same thing, just different paint job/company

Following the needs you listed, there is really only one binding. The Griffon. Light, will hold up, perfect fgor your weight (12din). About 950grams each.

To anyone recommending the look/rossis, They will hold up, and they are good for his weight but they are Heavy (you mentioned you need something light). They come in around 1250g each. so you're looking almost a pound heavier on each foot.

Salomons are also fairly light but I'm still not convinced on the durability. (Owned 914's for a number of years)

You decide if its worth it, but I would go griffons.

at 115 lbs, for non-pow ski, jesters would be overkill. Aggressive or not, that's asking for a broken leg at any of the higher settings. Griffons or STH12s are your ticket

He doesn't need Jesters. I have them and they are almost overkill for me at 170lbs. My buddy has Griffons and he's 190. They will hold up fine.

I agree with the DIN settings, but I have griffons for my park ski and jesters for my pow ski. Sometimes skiing big mountain in a no-fall zone, you have to be guaranteed that your ski will not release. I have also found the brakes to bend more easily on the griffons and possibly not be quite as durable. But for your purposes, they'll be great.

are you kidding? jesters would rip his legs off dude. at 115 lbs he has no need ffor a 16 din binding. FAIL.

griffons or px12's would be my suggestion. both very light and very durable.

You really think that the equivalent to an Axium binding is better than the jester?

I'm intrigued to know why?

I agree they are underrated, but not that much

Good choice..i'm getting a new set up over the summer and im an east coast park skier just like you..(100 pounds). im going with ar6's and griffons. should be a sick set up espessially since i ski a lot of hardpacked slopes along with park
