Help with base crack

So I got a pair of Punx 2 seasons ago and after this past season I noticed that there was what looked like a crack on each of the bases of both skis.

Can anyone identify if this indeed a base crack and if i have a problem? Should i ski on them? Try to fix them? Thoughts on warrantying them?

 
Pretty sure you have damaged the sidewall to the extent where it has pushed up and taken the base with it. Nothing you can do unfortunately. Use them as a rail ski until they totally give in. It happens from big impacts on rails. The sidewall is not a part of the core so if it takes repeated large impacts it can dislodge and move upwards. I have done it to quite a few skis, just part of the danger of riding rails.
 
They won't give out on a booter, they will one day just break when you hit a rail. There is no way that would be a warranty as it is totally user abuse unfortunately. No ski can hold up to constant rail use, like I said I have done this to quite a few different pairs of skis.
 
daaaaaaaaang havent seen this in quite a while. like tommy p said, time to make those bad boys an urban ski as its definitely not going to be something atomic will warranty. if you wanna try and ski them, maybe drop some ptex in the cracks to keep water from getting to the core? doubt it'd hold very long though
 
damn, can't afford new skis this season either. looks like I'll have to beat them until I'm forced to use my really short K2 disorderlys. thanks though!
 
shit.... i hate that. I got some ar7s this year ant that happened the base has separated now with just 1 season on them... so lame :(
