Help the torrent noob (+karma)

Alright. I just finished torrenting some music and it came as a .rar file, and I have no idea what to do with it. If somebody could tell me where to extract everything to, or where to put everything, or just some sort of step by step process would be helpful. All thanks in advance.
 
download winrar (google it)

open it using winrar, highlight everything thats in the box and click extract to at the top. and extract it to wherever you put your music. then you just play it from there
 
So open the .rar file in winrar and press "Extract to" up top. If you click ok on the next screen it will extract the files to wherever the rar is
