Fellow skiers and telemarkers lend me your eyes for a small amount of time to read this. My full name is Russell Pongonis and I am in desperate need of support. As of November 6, 2003 I was notified by my alpine ski coach that telemarking would not be allowed in races. Though it is allowed by NCAA and FIS rule books in which we follow. Please, if you believe that I should be able to race please comment down below and try to keep it clean this is going in front of a comittee. Also if you are well reconized in the ski industry and would like to write a small explanation on why you believe I should be able to race would be more than appriciated. You can also e-mail me at A.C.I.D@newschoolers.com for longer letters. The principal is Dale Fleming my coach is Lisa Mirabito A/coach Jeff Burrows, head CHSAA ski cordinator Wayne Benesch. Any letters directed to them will help my cause as well.

you should deffinitely be able to race...we are all doing the same thing, sliding on snow, so they should let you race. if they dont let you, they ar just holding back the progession of the sport. even though telemarking may not be the progression of skiing, it doesnt help any if they wont allow people to compete on tele skis.

I am a skier.

for sure you should be able to race. What did the coach of yours say when he told you you couldnt race with telemark
