HELP! Ski binding K+++

Hey guys,

Just wondering is a 2014 Rossignol FKS 140 with a brake of 130mm would be to wide for a set of Armada Alpha x which has an underfoot of 95? Also would I be able to use a pair of breaks from an old pair of bindings that are smaller or do the FKS have special brakes.

Thanks Alot for any help.

Yes, the bindings are to big. Although I'm pretty sure Rossignol FKS brakes can not be replaced unlike the Markers or Atomic bindings.

FKS do have their own specific breaks so you couldn't just swap breaks from another set of bindings. FKSs come in different sizes though so just purchase a different size.

In general, the brake really shouldn't go any more than 20mm wider than the width underfoot.

Fks brakes are swappable, it just takes a lot of effort and time to remove and replace them, in the end just buy the right sized bindings

Shot for all the help,

But im purchasing a pair of someone from U.S and i live in NZ so they cost like $600 if you can even find them. Is it possible to bend the brakes?

^ ahhh he's asking about mine, Yeah you can definitely bend them, they're the old brakes so they're already bent to that so I don't see why they couldn't be bent back smaller

Why dude? I don't know much about the inflation of prices in NZ, but just over the ditch in Australia, FKS's are 400, but ehh
