Anyone got any advice on how to shoot the meteor shower? as a novice photographer this is not within my realm of understanding so i was hoping some of you more PRO kids could tell me whats up. what lens, settings, ect will be workin the best?

thanks.

Do you have a canon? do you have an intervelometer?

There's a couple ways to do it. Some people do a ton of long exposures, delete every frame without a meteor trail, stack them in photoshop, and then erase out holes and merge layers together to get a bunch of unmoving stars and a bunch of trails. I think that's what I would do.
