hey everyone...i know im gunna sound really outta place and ill prolly be made fun of but....i have been racing scince i was a wee boy and have grown tired of it...i see so many people on here who are so good at freestyle...im brand new to the freestyle world and was hoping people could give me tips to get better...please anything will help

practice, practice makes perfect becuz i was kinda in the same situation becuz i have been skiing since i was 3 but i always went with my dad which = no park so when i got some friends i started park when everyone was good

dont be afraid to look stupid trying new stuff - we all did once.

you will fuck up the first 10 rails u hit, just get ur weight forward and keep hitting it.

when you start spinning, use less speed and then pop as hard as you can. that will balance you inthe air.

goodluck bro, no ones timing u now, have fun.

go look at this kids pics, and see what he is wearing and look at his style and get his hair cut and use the same skis and just be as same as him and then you will be a compleat park rat becuase over 5 pages of the best people on this site decided he cant ski outside of the park.

As it was said the first couple of rails you hit will be pretty rough, keep yourself forward on the rail because almost everyone ends out slipping off of the rail the first couple of times. When you go for a rail you have to commit to it otherwise you'll have second thoughts and bail hard. Start small and work your way up. Dont be afraid of looking like noob or an idiot in the park, everyone hast to start somewhere. Have fun. Good luck.

always always always make the full 90 degreej ump onto the rail and dont be afraid of falling... just comit to it and u should be fine. look at the end of the rail and get low

true.

as for landings - regular landings are easy as long as your takeoff is good.

landing switch is harder - just practice HEAPS of switch riding.

This may sound harsh but try to loose that infamous racer steeze. Dont be afraid to ride really relaxed. Have fun with it man and learn as much as you can. Plus ask for an invite to trick tip cult. That'll help you as you learn new stuff. good luck

the one thing that you need to no to get break through is, dont be embarresed to try shit in a park with a bunch of other good kids, they were thier at one point to.

Yeah, I really just started skiing the park this season and so far I've been pretty hesitant to hit anything because I'm too embarrassed about falling. I think as long as you can overcome that feeling you'll be fine. It all comes with practice.

ok so what do i do for tricks like rodeos n mistys and stuff...please teach me i wanna be good enough to make a vid like u guys...so reply on here or send me a message please

haha, give it a while, start of with threes and 180s, work up from there, and easy boxes and rails are a good foundation

but i thought people said to always try new stuff and not to be afraid to wipe out?? and if i am supposed to wait n practice up then for how long??

waiti got another question what if the lip is really big...almost like a quarter pipe but not quite how should i hit it?
