Help please

i need some help choosing a term paper book(analytical paper) for my senior year. it has to be a british author. so if any of you guys had to do one these when you were in school or doing it now any help choosing a book would be great. preferably a book that is pretty easy to write about(if that makes sense)

charles dickens. i'd recommend "david copperfield" and if you don't get all the way through it, you can just write about the magician
