HELP movies on my mac problems

i have a ski movie i downloaded that is in .avi form. when i play it in quicktime or real player it doesnt have any sound but when i play it in VLC it works fine. for some reason i cant drag it into itunes either. karma for help

Had this problem as well. You need this quicktime plug in called Perian. I think you can find it on apple's website. should work from there

yeah, either perian or flip 4 mac (or both)

i had the same problem of getting it into itunes....to solve this i burned it to a dvd then i used handbrake to rip it of the dvd into mpeg 4.
theres probably a better way to do this
