Filled out the survey but I do think it would be a lot more helpful if some sort of definition of sustainability was given. Does it mean having a particular certification, or just a brand claiming to be sustainable, or is it just based on my personal perception of whether or not they're sustainable? Seems like almost every larger brand talks about their products being sustainable but at this point I'm very skeptical.

I feel like that was part of the survey. trying to see what people personally think "sustainable" is
 
Brands need to stop making shit that encourages us to replace replace replace and start building shit that lasts. That's half the sustainability battle.
 
Sustainability is a blown out over used word that doesn't mean anything, especially when its coming from a brand trying to sell something

the first parts of the survey *should* have a description of what the parameters of sustainability are defined by. Gah.

the first page of questions mentions sustainable materials and processes but I couldn't see any more of a description. Might have missed it though. A lot of good questions on the survey, I was just confused about that particular aspect

If my life was sad enough to the point I had to hit picnic tables in augusta maine and self film it for my urban internet season edit, I’d probably stfu talking shit to some kid also from maine on the internet who grew filming legends but what do i know?

There are some companies that make more expensive gear that lasts but for a lot of companies (ex. montec) they have zero incentive to build something that lasts more than a few seasons at most.
