Looking for a super soft, flexiable park ski, mostly do rails, might go out west once a year, midwest skier, want a superrrrrr buttery, soft, flexiable ski!!! What I was thinking of : Icelantic nomad 95, I want more options !!! Thankyou!!!

If you want "super soft" go with the Line Blends or the Vishnu's (as mentioned above), possibly the Line Honey Badger if you want a narrower ski. The former two skis mentioned though have to be the softest on the market that would be perfectly at home in the midwest. They fit 100% of what you're requesting.... & buy the Vishnu's so they can keep making skis for years to come.

Line Blend. The hype is real, this is about as much fun as you can have flexing a pair of skis, they are heaven. The most buttery, the most playful, and bonus, they can noodle their way through pow like a champ (revelstoke tested).

LINE BLEND !

LINE BLEND !

I say this in every single one of these threads (there are many), but I've owned both the wets and blends and the wets are way better. They are more stable at high speeds as well as being easier to butter due to their flex pattern. They're also more durable.

Ok, so you must be quite young then - how tall are you? There's a common misconception on how long your skis should be when you're younger, especially when you're still growing. You may be thinking you need smaller skis than you think.

All the skis you've mentioned since are stiffer, but you really seem to want the Nomad 95's so go for it & have fun skiing.

Checkout the Allplay in a 164! Soft, Buttery, consistent flex throughout meaning you have more control over where the ski bends when initiating a butter than a ski with butter zones. At 98 underfoot it will handle your daily midwest sessions, and still perform great when you make it further west! Feel free to stop by our website and chat with our customer service team!

Unless someone convinces me of getting another ski soon I’ll probs just go with the line blends (2018 edition) and get a deal on them since the 2019s are out now

Candide 2.0's are not really really soft if thats what you are looking for. Anything with carbon fiber stringers in it will still have quite a bit of rigidity. I would also suggest Armada Edollos or the J ski All plays as something that are buttery but not quite as harsh to ride as Blends are anywhere outside of the park.

What about de Edollo armada skis or how ever u spell it lol, probs gonna order the skis Friday so help me out leaning towards line blends. Leave last thoughts below thanks everyone!

New Chronics are pretty much as soft as blends tip/tail. And available in a 164 if you wanted shorter than blends

Just remember we're the only ski company to offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee! Order the skis now, ride them on your own mountain, with your own bindings, on your own time, and if you're not completely stoked after a few days of shredding simply send them back for a full refund or a different pair of skis - no questions asked. Risk free way to try the most buttery skis on the market!

Cheers!

5’6” maybe 5’7” 115 pounds

Get some vishnus in 177

They ski a lot shorter than they are

Besides, a good skier should be able to handle a ski that's a little bit big no problem

I've been using Allplays for a few years now... definitely suuuuppper buttery. Took em out to Breck a couple years back and they rode surprisingly well, being a fairly narrower ski for out west standards.

Poachers are a stiff/heavy go big ski. Please do yourself a favor and get the Vishnus. Good value for money, lightweight, tons of rocker.

Narrowed it downto the 2018 line blend 171cm or 2018 candy 2.0 166cm, I’m 5’7” 115 pounds , help me choose a good park ski!!!!which one?

if your growing still or a fairly advanced skier and gonna center mount I would consider the 178 blend ! if worried about height then go 171 blend. 166 is too small of a ski for someone your height!

imma big fan of the V's. I was gonna scoop a pair this year but I'm having mixed feelings about these graphic options lol Usually, I just look for a nice color scheme, and throw some stickers on. but these guys actually print legit images on the top-deck.

I like the Clouds ☁️ the most! but they're all sold out. So, Im gonna have to go with the Oranges ? bcs the Honey Comb ? image triggers Trypophobia within me bones. ?

don't centre mount the blends they aren't symmetrical. You should only centre mount symmetrical skis

Everyone center mounts the blends

well I didn't, the recommended line is only 3cm back, and it was totally fine. I also highly doubt a lot of the guys on the line team centre mount theirs, it's not symmetrical ski.

Yeah but the blends have a joy division top sheet so none of that other stuff really matters

This thread is three (3) years old. You're probably more likely to find information on the Reckoner in more recent posts. I know the search function on here is shit, try using Google and searching whatever terms + newschoolers.com
