the vans era and the vans authentic are pretty much the same shoe. the only difference is that the Era has padding around the ankle and the Authentic doesn't. so its pretty mujch up to you bro.

i'm guessing you skate?i used to have the emerica transists and they're pretty dope and they skate pretty nicely so i'd recommend them. they also have a little alien pendant hanging from one shoe which is a plus. the main part is canvas but the toe part is synthetic more durable stuff for skating which makes it not a legit full canvas shoe but that's not my style anyways so whatever.

Those aren't kicks. Those are shoes. I wouldn't go with any of them unless you want to look like an emo/goth/punk kid who is 'in a band'.

But the Hsu's are the best, just not in black.

Go with some sbs and you'll be a lot happier.

nike sb's blow. i hate those shoes. and i don't really give a shit about generalizing the people around me into emo/goth/punks who are in bands I just like black shoes and vulcanized so I narrowed it down to those ones. but really I should have just posted something like this :
