next year i get to go somewhere pretty much anywhere i want to go to ski

i went to verbier in switzerland already and what would be a good place to go for next year. i was thinking of going to keystone breck and vail cause they are pretty close apperently, or going to new zealand snow park but i dunno

When do you want to go skiing? Because the NZ season is way different compared to the US. Or do you have a whole year free?

I'm from NZ and I know people rave about snow park, but to be honest, all the parks like breck, keystone, whistler ect are much better. SP is amazing compared to places over here, but if it was me and i wanted to ski park, I'd go ski in USA. Plus Snow Park no longer does season passes which sucks.

But then i guess you could ski in US until march then ski in NZ from end of June till Oct.

thats only this year theyr not doing passes...

snow park is sick, theres no question, a whole hill dedicated to park not only means sick park, but everyone there is there for the same purpose meaning good vibes.

i cant talk about americas parks coz i havnt been.... but nz is an experience apart from anything else... so if you can give er a go!

Ohk, you know exactly why there not doing them this year? Seems pretty weird. Anyone who skis a lot won't want to be shelling out for a pass every day. Especially if you dont do a full day.

Well, if you go to SnowPark NZ, you could come back and ski during the northern hemisphere's winter too...

but snowparks gona be real expensive

yeah NZ rules for sure..but there is NO WAY anyone should pay for a day pass every day to ride snowpark, its just not economically viable. however, cardrona (right across the valley from snowpark) has a pertty legit park setup. dhogg and i shall be riding there all winter long. plus there are many other sweet fields about the place in NZ if you have $$ and time to travel!

yeah they are just economically fucked.... they were in debt all last year, and tried to sell, but didnt i dont think... they have lost ALL event rights to cardies... nz open, winter games etc etc... so whoever their economic adivisor is came up with not selling season passes to help increase revenue...

well dumb move, season pass' provide guaranteed revenue, preseason revenue but also if you have a season pass to sp, youll bring your mates up with you coz your going there anyway...

i think whoever came up with the idea is retarded, cardies will have a sick park, but will be SUPER packed, its always packed but like 100x more coz no one will ride at sp

im gona say remarkable FTW this year

will be an interesting season

i heard rumours that treble was fucked also and they have some weird free deal on with the main basin chair.... dunno what thats about. sucks for cardies being packed tho.

i rode remarks all last winter, my buddies are on park crew and its sick as but not quite on the level of cardies park.however, they are waaaay more on point with maintaining and grooming shit there. where you gonna be riding dude?are you from the wanaka area?

yeah treble has free lower mountain services... which means pomer and magic carpet is free.... which i think will be a good move on their behalf, but who knows how theyl end up

well im at uni in chch but will be in wanaka 4 days a week, so cardies and treble, but parents are in qtown so might ride remarks too depending on snow and shit

wbU?

ohhh i see sweet as yeah guess that will attract people.true, sick.i'll be at cardies probly 3 days a week, studying at dunners ay.will try to make it to remarks as much as i can, $ allowing.

im 14 and im going with my dad

and i want to go to a good place that not ALL park like i dunno what keystone and breck are like for i mean how big they are but ya wed have to go somewhere that we could do a little actuall mountain skiing to but im not sure

i mean i dont wanna go to a real small hill which has only a good park

Go watch En Route: Japan. And than you will want to go ski some Japanese powder so bad. If I had a choice I would go take a tour of Japan and ski.

^yeahh snowpark.probably could be a chance there wont be heaps of locals there cos they'll all have spent their money on passes elsewhere.

dude... u gotta check out breck, keystone, vail, and A Basin... i went there a few yrs ago n a couple of my buds went last yr n said it was even cooler.... but yea def. hit them up....... you wont be disapointed
