Help Me Out With My Shin Bang

Basically ive been skiing for three days and got some major shin bang so i couldnt ski today even tho there was like 40 cm of fresh snow so any advice??? im going to the doctor and going to rent out some different boots and im in a small city/valley so they dont sell boosters or anything ?????

There are many different ways to elimanate this each one works for some people and not others. You can tighten your boots, get a booster strap, shove a beer cozy in the front of your boots, but by far the simplest is to stop skiing backseat.

i learned that the hard way ^

ive been off skiing for 5 days, my shins hurt so bad.. forgot to tighten them in the morning and skied all day. pretty much couldnt even drive. rook mistake.

tighten em as tight as bearable, 99% of the time a boot that is so tight you lose circulation, fits. (someone might contradict me but that show it is for me) after talking to many expert bootfitters they actually told me, for more performance just tighten the fuck outta the boot so that its 1 with my foot, and its better to have it that tight and just undo them before every lift ride.

tight = the boot will flex WITH your boot, not against it.

last line, your foot/legs will flex with the boot, not against the boot; causing shinbang

your sarcasm meter is broken BRO. and honistly this is the 100th thread ive seen on shin bang this winter. stop fucking making them. Theres no "mystical cure" for shin bang the way to avoid it is not have wiggle space in your boots where your legs are and more importantly DONT LAND BACK SEAT! The only thing you can do once you have shin bang is get 2 zip-lock bags, fill them with snow and tape them tight to your shins and let em ice for an hour or more and then take mad asprin or watever you use as a pain med. PLEASE STOP MAKING SHIN BANG THREADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to have the same problem, then NS helped me out.

I picked the cheap solutions:

1. If your boots have a power strap (the little velcro thingy at the top of your boots), wear it on the inside of your tongues.

2. Wear your boots so tight that they almost cut off your circulation.

And yes, I have Full Tilts
