Help me out guys

So last week I got my skis mounted at my local shop and they mounted them wrong and said they would give me any ski in their shop for free. So basically I have to pick from most of the new lines, armada, and atomics. I was skiing on disorderlys before and I would like some skis close to those.

I have until Sunday to decide, thanks guys!
 
I see two options here. Take a fat pair of pow sticks just because you can, or go with a ski you'll actually use everyday. Choosing between ski brands is really just a matter of personal preference; almost all brands offer ALMOST the same quiver, although in some cases quality is an issue. And I doubt many people on here have put a 2011 ski through enough to judge its quality just yet. As stupid as it sounds, I'd go with the ski with the most appealing graphics in your eyes.
 
get a pair of pow skis, remount your disorderlys at a different shop and get two skis for the price of one mounting!
 
^ Genius. Nothing is going to happen because your Disorderlys are mounted twice, it's generally the third mount where you can start having problems.
 
yeah, I was actually surprised that they said that I could get a new pair. But there would be no point in me getting powder skis, I live on the east coast. Ive narrowed it down pretty much to urban punx. What are your guys thoughts on those?
 
Unless they destroyed the skis then just get them remounted again (mount them switch if they're Disorderlys) and take shop credit for new skis when you need them.
 
the atomic punxs are symmetrical and they have asimilar flex to the dissorderlys and on the upside they arent as heavy, to choose for any ski of the shop go i'd go with ar7s, they have a perfect flex for medium to large jumps, and for jibbin shit although compaired to the punx they are stiffer and they arent symmetrical
 
Jeez. Up to you man. You would love the atomic punx or armada thall for sure though! Great skis, personally i would go for the thall, but you have a symmetrical ski. so i take it you prefer that. Orrr you could just get some pow skis for the rare occasion of pow, for messing around, trips out west, etc. like i did. Probably will regret it, but hell, you only live once!
 
haha thanks guys, but now its down to punx or revivals, I want a symmetrical ski, but revivals seem so sick... Your thoughts?
 
they wont order skis, and there's always the 2011 afterbangs at the shop, but whats the durability of those vs. the punx?
 
I've never owned either, but I'd much rather get the Punx. I've heard much better things about it, and when I skied it, it was a pretty fun ski.
 
well yeah, but I don't hit many jumps, my mountain only has a few so I think I'm going to go with afterbangs but I'm still open to choices
 
The Punx kicks the shit out of afterbangs in every way. Great ski. AR7's wouldn't be a bad choice either.
 
Punx will take just as much abuse on rails as afterbangs. IMO sidewall sandwhich construction > skatedeck for durability.
