Help me fix my 360's

Remember when you learned how to 360?? Yeah me neither. I'm an old dog now at 28, and I'm not sure when but at some point my threes started looking like absolute trash. Check these clips from yesterday / early season and look at what I do with my arms. How can I remedy this? Pop harder and lead more with chest and shoulders? My body turns but at some point my arms get left behind. I haven't actively tried to change them yet but whenever I see video I'm like good god I need to fix that.

I guess grabbing tail would help but that won't solve the main issue I don't think. Input appreciated! Thanks!

It looks like you make it to 180, stop your rotation then like shifty it around. Keep looking over your shoulder until you're fully facing the landing and that should help.

I wouldn’t say they’re trash, they’re just really fast. Like previous poster mentioned, looking over lead trailing shoulder will help slow the rotation around. Also, you’re flinging the skis around faster than your body. If you use your core a bit more you can try to keep the skis and body aligned.

Focus on your core, your legs are spinning independently of your upper body

Even if your cores strong enough, train it so you have better muscle memory, practice standing 3s in grass with boots on and focus on that core, keep knees, feet and chest pointed same way, you can open your arms to slow rotation

For me, a little extra height and speed helps me feel more comfortable spinning slower

Long story short, it's not about throwing harder. There's a lot of great advice posted above and I just went through a similar thread last week with a homie trying to master his 3's. Stop thinking about the arms and start thinking about the shoulders and where your head is at. The arms are just extensions of the shoulders, but all of the real upper body work as far as this trick goes is in the shoulders. Your focus should be to be as smooth as possible. Use your legs to pop at the right time and look to spot your landing. In drivers ed they teach you this same principle. Look where you want to go. Simple as that. If you wanna 3, twist your head and shoulders on a level axis to where you wanna be. I'm only speaking about upper body here, but keep in mind your legs should be bending and popping off the jump as well.

I need help too but I didn't want to make another thread. We have actual jumps now but I still keep falling forward or landing on 1 ski. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to see cause of the angle but looks like your leaning a little off axis to the left after carving left, try coming str8 in and follow the horizon

also your right arm looks like it’s over rotating putting force on your left side

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks!

also, it kind of seems like your dipping your head and looking under your shoulder to spot your landing. that might be why you start to fall forward a little bit.

then again, im not a coach.
