Help me find skis (Noob)

Alright hi guys I need some help looking for some skis for next year. A little background I've been a Park snowboarder my entire life and recently shattered both of my wrists and they are filled with screws and the doctor told me not to risk it by snowboarding. I picked up skiing about halfway through this season and really enjoyed it. I picked it up quick and day 2 I dropped a few double blacks and easily got a 360 on my buddies Line chronics. On my 5th day I landed a backflip and hit a c curve with a 270 off. If that gives anybody an idea of my skill level. Basically I am looking to get some park skis but I don't know what I should be looking for brand or size wise. Also if theres anything I need to look for in bindings/boots let me know that also. Currently thinking A full tilt boot but let me know what you guys think is best

Heres this

LOCATION Park City Utah

HEIGHT/AGE/WEIGHT 6'2 190

ABILITY LEVEL Probably 3 but base it off of what you read

BUDGET Unlimited post whatever you think a good setup is for skis/boots/bindings

WHAT KIND OF SKI DO YOU WANT Mainly park 90% of the time 10% would be coasting around the mountain with friends

If you could list this size ski also let me know. I landed my backie on 171 line chronics but I've been told I should ride 176-179. I think thats a bit long for park but I don't know. Thanks

You need more to put in more information. What mountain are you skiing at most of the time? Do you like the flex or the Chronics, or do you want something softer or stiffer? They are a medium to soft flexing ski, and there are options stiffer and softer.

As for boots, don't just get Full Tilts, they will be shit if they don't fit your foot. Go see a boot fitter at tour local shop without any preferences and he will send you in the right direction.

Bindings, it sounds like you need a 13ish din range binding, so I would take a look at the Tyrolia Attack 13, the Salomon STH 13, and the Rossi FKS 140, and choose which one you like.

Okay so in response to this.

Mainly since these are going to be specifically park I'll be at park city ut or breck. I liked the flex on the chronics they seemed pretty good to nose butter on. I'll take your word for boots and try them on. I've tried On some full tilts and dalbellos and salomon that seemed nice. I was told to go for 177+ on the skis. So would 178-182 be a good range seeing as I'm riding only park on these? My dps are 184 I beleive. I just feel like longer skis are tough to spin on but maybe it's just me.

The Faction Soma and K2 Shreditor 92 are both very similar skis to the Chronic just with better quality construction. I would go with a larger size than 177, you are a pretty big guy, and all of those skis have some rocker, which will make them feel shorter.

As far as boots go, do some research on the best bootfitter in the area, call to see if it is necessary to make an appointment with their head bootfitter. Go in and talk to them about custom insole options, have those made, then have him/her select the boot. The best fitting boot for you may not feel good when it goes on your foot without any work done. You have to trust the fiteer at this point, he/she will make shell alterations to make the boot fit your foot well. This is why you did the reasearch on the best fitter in the area. Don't go in to the fitter with any preconceived notion of what you want, being open to any boot will get you the best fit.
