I need money, fuckin' bad. I need a new pair of skis, bindings, and boots, not too mention my swag is negative cause I have no clothes for money. I instructed cross country mtn biking at a boy scout camp last summer but the cash was shit so i bounced. So barely an experience, but I need cash.

Any good answers, i boost ya karma! +k

You used the words swag, bounced, and boost all within five sentences. Do you also wear a ball cap backward, sag really baggy pants, and keep a cigarette tucked on top of your ear?

best bet, i filled out like 10 applications and got one interview, and was hired there. Also, companies may look back at past apps and call you if they need workers. The other day I got a job offer from a place I applied at 1 year ago...

What I mean by that is, with entry level jobs, they're either fun and don't pay much, or not fun and pay ok.

Well you need to find a job to get started and then keep looking for a job. The 1st job is just to supply enough money to get you though and then you start looking for a new job. Experience looks good on resume.

be a dishwasher at a restaurant. they're a dime a dozen, but if you're a good worker they'll keep you on. most places will eventually move you up to cook if you stick around and show you're interested, too.

busser. i did it for 3 summers at two different restaurants. i just liked interacting with people and if you are required to provide table-side services (i made people guacamole) you get tipped well.

i was also a lifeguard for two summers. really easy to get certified and swimming ripped up my back and shoulders.

Uh don't expect a well paying job if you have to ask what to do on NS.

unless you want to move into northern canada for the summer. if so shoot me a pm

teach little kids ski lessons at your local mountain=free seasons pass, and i at least get; one weekend off a month (i only work weekends)i work8-4, and nightski all night, free lunch at work, and tips. its a great job.

go for your local shop,

1) it'll pay min wage

2) your around stuff you love.

3) you get discounts on stuff you love

win win win? i think so, like my local is closing down and moving just as i was giving in my resume but they said i have a good chance of getting a job when they open at the new location because not many of their staff know much about freestyle skiing, so try there? plus they said id have weekends off so im stoked to see if i get one. good luck!
