Aight so i currently ride on 4frnt VCT's when there is powder or skiing all around the mountain. I am looking into buyin some skis next year that can do it all off trail from pow to crud to being light and responsive for backcountry jumping. I feel that my VCT's are heavy and unresponsive and feel dead. So basically i want a ski that is relatively playful and light but not overly noodly i would like some tip and tail rocker at the least so what would you guys suggest throw out your ideas thanks.

Maybe the Liberty Helix. Similar dimensions to the VCT, but much more responsive, poppy, and light weight. Not a ton of rocker, but the lack of it makes it one of the most versatile skis out there. You can even spin some laps in the park with it.

on3p caylor for sure. basically think hellbents, that are lighter, stiffer, more poppy, and better made

i cannot overemphasize the pop these things have, a few weeks ago i boosted off the spine that forms under 1 and grabbed a chair haha

for those that dont know mt. spokane this was maybe 15 feet up, sooo i went pretty big... and then lost a ski... and just about REALLY lost it haha

/big air claim

wasn't a fan of the benchetler. super unpredictable and grabby on groomers, wasn't very good in crud and the tips sunk quite a bit. You had to lean back a lot more than the hellbents or ep's. I'd say look at k2 or line, their skis look ill for next year
