Help me decide between these 4 skis

I am stuck on deciding which ski to get out of the K2 Sight, K2 Reckoner 92, Atomic Maverick 88 Ti and the K2 Mindbender 88.I live in Australian and need a good All mountain one quiver ski. I’m 177 cm and 65 kg. If any of you could help me reach a conclusion that would be very appreciated.

We need to know what type of skier you are, and your intended use. I ended up with the Armada Declivity 92ti when looking at similar skis to what you posted. If you can demo each one, that's the best way.

Not the sights. Reckoners are apparently very versatile

I’m just a little concerned about the width of the Reckoners because Australian snow is quite icy throughout most of the day but then turns to slush in the afternoon, so I feel like 92 is to wide for the conditions and would be less forgiving.

I’m an intermediate/ advanced skier and I really do want a little bit off everything, I ski a little bit of park and off- piste but Australia is mostly groomers but I want to start skiing more of park and off-piste and want to know the best ski to do so. Australian conditions are icy with little to no powder all season but then the snow gets slushy in the afternoons.

I use a 92 as my everyday ski on the US east coast. Ice in the AM that thaws mid day and refreezes for afternoon and night skiing. No issues with ice, light pow days, slush, etc... Just gotta adjust how you ski to the conditions you are in.

What resort are you skiing at? Haven't skied on any of the skis you're looking at but I will say don't be too afraid to go for something abit wider if you are looking at it for all mountain, I've been skiing my Kartel 98 as a daily coming up on about 5 years and have rarely had an issue with it.

I ski Perisher Australia where there isn’t very deep snow

Yea man Im from Australia, ski both Thredbo and Perisher every year, I don't think the conditions are as shocking as you're making them out to be honestly. But like I said if you are looking for a ski you can take all over the mountain you won't have an issue going a little bit wider. The Reckoner 92 probably hits the nail on the head for what you're looking for but again I haven't been on it so I can't give you much more than what I've read of heard, otherwise you can't go wrong with a pair of Chronics or the something like a Jeffrey96.

The Reckoner 92 is essentially a tweener ski. It’s full cap construction and it’s very soft. Don’t let the sizing fool you, I wouldn’t be picking that ski for all mountain purposes. The Sight is actually stiffer and more torsionally rigid but it’s not a great all mountain ski. If you want to start progressing in the park but still want something that allows you to ski the rest of the mountain confidently, I would think that the Armada ARV 96, the Faction Prodigy 2.0 or K2 Poacher would be readily available to you. Skis like the ON3P Jeffrey 102 or the Moment Wildcat 101 would be sick but I’d think you likely pay a lot for shipping. If you can warrant the extra cost, those 2 will last way longer and are just generally way better skis than the others I mentioned. Otherwise, the Armada Faction or K2 would be real good starting points.

reckoner 92 is super soft and would just irritate you on groomers. mindbenders and mavericks would both work on groomers but are not twin tips so wouldn't be much fun in the park. i ski k2 sights at the moment and are a great park ski. you cant push them on groomers like you can proper slalom skis but they still definitely work well enough to have fun and have a surprising amount of float in powder, but tbh off piste performance shouldn't be much of a factor if your'e in Australia and don't get much snow. Sights are 100% an underrated ski would recommend

I skied 89 underfoot when I was working at Charlotte pass down the road. My vote is for the K2 Sight, as well. There was a guy who would rip them around the resort and ski groomers, Cliffs, etc. on them. Get the sights, OP and then grab some powder skis for deep days

Ended up going with a pair of K2 90 carbon and can’t wait to use them
