Help me and a friend out with an ipod transaction

my friend is gonna sell me his old ipod. it is a 20 gig u2 special edition ipod with click wheel... neither of us know what a reasonable price for it is so if you could through out some numbers it would be appreciated.
 
thanks, for the bj remarks guys. but seriouly dose like 40$ sound reasonable to anyone? i dont think that its in real good shape...
 
yeah, i'd say around 50-60 bucks sounds good

it's an older player, and only 20 gigs

you can get 80 gigs for around 200 nowadays, so at least it should go for a quarter of 200, since it has a quarter of the space

so 50 bucks
