[Help] Looking to dye hair

To celebrate the winter break.....and also to freak my parents out, I want to dye my hair! I was thinking a light, very vivid blue. However, I have never dyed my hair in my life before, and only know a little bit from Googling. My hair length is around 4 inches and dirty blonde. For the most part there are no curls. Any tips of dying hair are appreciated. Also, I am not set on the color blue yet, so if you have any good suggestions don't be shy.
 
Manic panic hair dye leave it in your hair for 39 minutes and take a shower go to like a Sally's beauty store
 
doing it yourself never turns out well and having it done costs a lot more money.

I always though have a nice light blue with frosted white tips would look cool in a "I'm anime" sort of way.
 
Hmm, I looked into it and read some reviews. The reviews themselves were mixed, but the reception for the blue hair dye was great. You have any problems using it in the past? Some people on the reviews said it literally dyed everything blue o-o....like their skin blue
 
If you just wipe the ur off your hairline and any part of yourself you get it on. If you are messy put Vaseline on your hands under gloves and on your hairline. Oh us wear gloves and have someone wipe off your neck.

If you don't want it really dark or intense mix like a tablespoon with a quarter or two of conditioner
 
Sorry for the stupid spelling my iPhone is like cracked as fuck and the charger to my laptop died. Needless to say u shouldn't have nice things
