Guys,

i am about to press the buy button on one of this boots. Just your 2 cent's and differences you think they have.

I will ride mostly powder since i have 2 Powder skis, Pollard OPUS and Line The 130 also when POW is not available i will ride on groomers or regular piste....

so please just differences based on experience or what you think. I will wait few hours..... Upon purchase i will post the receipt that means i will listen to what you have to say.

I like SPK for padding that i has since i do jumps and cliffs up to 10 meters high.

Then i like Quest max for offering 360 molding and hiking mode since i do hike a bit, and i think 3 buckle system plus the strap is more of a tight fit.

anyway let me know throw at me what you got... ill wait another 2 to 4 hr for responses.

Cheers.

have you even tried them on with a bootfitter? do you know that they are the best boot for your foot? otherwise you're taking a total gamble with them fitting your feet. I ask because you didnt say and the fit of your boots will ultimately determine how comfortable your riding is going to be and how effective the boot will be for you.

Salomon always fit me i know the size and the last so both boots are OK. Also i will be ordering some insoles to custom fit them myself as much as i can since there is no boot fitter around me.

They fit totally differntly. The quest is much narrower out of the box with a higher instep and a wider heel. The spk has a huge forefoot low instep and narrow heel. If you fit the spk out of the box you would need quite a bit of work doing to the quest. If you fit the quest out of the box the spk will not fit. Better off comparing the quest 100 and the Xmax 100. At least they are the same last out of the box the two boots you looking at are 6mm differnt. Te te quest can go as wide and infact wider then te spk but obviously you need a shop to do it, so why not just but from a shop? Also what size do you think you need. Chances are you may want the quest a size smaller then the spk as it has the extra room in the toe box.

Yeah, your not going to get the answer you want to hear OP. I've tried both boots on and the SPK fits wildly different from the Quest Max 100. The Quest was a near perfect fit on my foot, a little loose in the heel; where my foot was swimming side to side on the SPK and my foot's arches were being severely pinched. The Qeust fits a narrower foot with higher arches, and the SPK fits wide and flat feet. Unless your feet are made from play-doh, then there's no way you fit both.

In the end you can do whatever you like, but trust me, we're all suggesting you go to a boot fitter because none of us want you to have a crappy day because you bought boots online that don't fit at all.

Oh god... Just read the part where you said there is no boot fitter around you. I see you live in Serbia. But is there no local shops with boots available to try on? That's really second best to getting fitted; and buying online should never be considered a sound option.
