so i bought these bindings on ebay....brand new salomon z10 ti. got them for $70 shipped so i was wicked stoked. when i got them they are Salomon 710 Ti Smartrak Grip System Bindings. My question is can I mont these without the smart track system onto my skis?
 
wait so they gave you the wrong bindings??? 710s are complete shit get rid of them as quickly as possible
 
thanks...yea i already emailed the guy b/c it said he guarantees the item as described...and it so isnt. so hopefully he will let me return them.

why do you think they are shit? if you are gonna say b/c they break wicked easily, you gotta understand im 5ft 95lbs with a din that is set at 6...supposed to be 4-41/2 so i dont need a heavy duty binding. i just want a light one.

I think they suck becaase they use alot of plastic parts and break easily. For your size though I think that they might actually be ok. I would still try to get the z10s tho because they will be a little more durable.
 
haha thanks! yea i am really small! its ok tho! sucks when im skiing...everyone thinks im a little kid....but it woeks when i ski somewhere i dont have a pass for b/c i can buy a kids ticket and no one questions me!
 
system bindings only work with system skis.  there are ways you can rig that stuff up, but if you can return them, just do that.  get something that is made to work correctly.
 
thank you all so much!! the guy fianlly emaield me abck and he is going to take them back...he had no idea....he oesnt ski he somehow came across these and decided to sell them! haha. but its all good now! thank you again. you have all been so helpful!!
 
^ at your size and weight, i'd take in consideration some look novas. super light binding and goes up to a 10 din setting. i've heard alot of positive comments from female skiers that use this binding & you can probably find them for $50 bucks or less.
 
710's suck balls, they're like kids rental bindings. get him to return your money because you don't want to deal with the track and regardless of your tininess you don't want 710's
