and chronics definitely aren't crap, i consider crap skiis to be either straight, or totally useless but chronics aren't crap
 
so if i understand this right... you want good skis for doing crap skiing?

why dont you just buy crap skis for good skiing and tell me how that goes
 
if your current skiis are 04-05 tm's(from your profile), then wouldn't you use those as your crap skiis, and chronics as your good skiis?
 
yeah, seriously , the triplets are nice skis, not crap, nor are the chronics. Get some shitty used stuff, not some brand new shit for 600$
