Help choosing Skis

Hey NS

Im buying new skis this season and Im not sure what to get... For the past three seasons Ive had Icelantic Danollies which I fucking loved and were extremely durable- but Ive outgrown them. These skis were awesome but my only complaint was that they weren't buttery enough, they were slightly more on the stiff side. If possible, Id like to get a ski thats still really poppy but flexible and light as well. I'm looking at brands like Icelantic, Revision, Armada, Moment, and open to pretty much any ski as long as its not to expensive and durable (lasts at least two seasons). Let me know what you guys ride and what you recommend and let me know which bindings you use too. I'm looking for skis no shorter than 170cm and no longer than 185cm

(I'm 5'9 and weigh 145 lbs.)

Revision Talisman, good pop and really flexy. You probably can get them cheap when they start preorders. Durability is ok, i have skied them for a season now and they are propably gonna last for another season.

Dynastar distorters. Can find them online for 250 brand new. I thrash skis so hard and they still last me a full season. Wouldn't recommend revisions, have a buddy who's been skiing 2 seasons and in the last year he broke 3 (might actually be 4 I lost track) pairs

Why not get another pair of Da'Nollies if you liked them so much?

At some point I can't remember when though, Icelantic made the Da'Nollie wider and softer which sounds like what you want.

i have a pair of 15 Line TC's that sound like exactly what you're looking for.. very light, poppy, and buttery af. trying to get rid of them if you're interested

Im a fan of K2.. had lots of other brands they seem to have never disappointed me nothing but good things to say about K2. Ive had armada as well also would recommend them

I have 14' Line Chronics 171. The tops fall apart as fast as my Saga pants but the bottoms are tough. I came from K2 public enemies so the light weight and playfulness in the Chronics is welcoming. Demo days will be your best bet.

armada edollo is around the same width as the danollie, and more buttery. not symmetrical but mine are center mounted and you don't notice a difference at all. also held up fine for the second half of this season with nothing but topsheet chips so far.

HGs all the way, most durable ski I've ever been on with such lightweight and poppy flex. Still been skiing urban and park on the pair I got 3 years ago with no edge cracks or core tears and the talltxhg safaris are still goin strong after mostly skiing urban and park this year
