HELP: Cat was kidnapped at gunpoint

Some guy carjacked someone and a cat was in the car at the time. The car was found but the cat was not in the car and is missing. The family is seeking help identifying the thief in order to find the missing cat. The thief left his phone in the stolen car when he abandoned it. Any ideas on how to help identify this guy and rescue this cat?

not sure if this is a troll or not but if the phone's not a burner turn it in to the police/service provider and they can identify the owner via the sim card if it wasn't already stolen.

Cops are unwilling to help because the guy got his car back. Cat is still missing.

My friend's neighbor trapped and relocated his housecat. Fortunately my friend is resourceful, caught him on camera saying he's trapped and relocated 15 neighborhood cats and also the neighbor pushed my friend on camera so he's getting 2 separate lawsuits.

If it's not somebody who know, police are already involved, not somebody we know, what exactly could anyone here do about it?

If you're linking to facebook I'm assuming it's getting shared a bunch which is really the best in terms of friends and other people in whatever area seeing it and maybe seeing the cat.

Also could help to post the city at least. Not much information in the title or OP.

Good luck I guess.

Go to the scene of the crime and yell here kitty kitty then open a can of can food as loud as you can, guaranteed the cat will come running towards the sound of a can of cat food being opened

This works 100% of the time. Even if you're on a boat cat will appear.

I was playing some tunes on my mini ramp and a cat jumped the fence onto the ramp our dog freaked and chased it, cat jumped another fence but had left baby kitty.

Shit was wild. Roommate ended up finding out whos house theyd been living under and brough the kitty and cat food. Mom came and grabbed kitten and everyone was happy.

Cue uplifting music

Track the SIM card yourself, go to the home, case it for 1 week, install a WiFi camera nearby if necessary and proceed accordingly, break in remove all firearms, when they’re vulnerable, aka getting the mail not while sleeping may have gun under pillow, reclaim cat or proceed to terrorize, blackmail, and sabotage vehicles and the homes infrastructure until they have a mental breakdown

Yep, it will literally be raining cats and cats

To answer some questions:

This happened in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

To

my understanding, carjacker got in guy's car when he was at gas

station. Cat was in car. Carjacker threatened to shoot car owner, drove

off with cat in car. Abandoned car but cat was no longer in car. Car was

found, cat was not. Cops won't help because car was found.

Bruh it doesn't really matter that the car was found, you can't "borrow" someone's car at gunpoint and not have the cop come look for you simply because the car was later found. You still committed a crime and the cops are still coming after you.

So this whole thing doesn't really add up, the cop have to be looking for the guy and their chances of finding him are low but still higher than NS'.

All I can say is I think you severely and astronomically overestimate the compotency of the police

Is this thread the start of Don't Fuck With Cats 2?

Jokes aside though, hope he gets his cat back, sounds like a shitty situation
