sorry about creating a whole thread but whatever, i would appreciate it if you just helped me out, thanks. im looking for a nice pair of skis for about under $400. i ski purely park so im not looking for anything slightly powder or all mountain style of ski. i had the line stepups last year but they broke after about 28 days of riding them so im not interested in lines shitty ass products. any suggestions or sales or anything that would help me find the right ski for this up coming season would be perfect. thank you very much and karma will be given to all those that help!

Punx sound right for you. Theyre a cheaper and somewhat durable ski by park standards. Also, the K2 domains would also perform similarly for a similar price. Hope this helped

A bit more info is needed before any one can recommend a ski for you,

How old are you?

How much do you weigh?

How tall are you?

Do you prefer jumps to rails?

If you prefer jumps, how big and what level are you at?

If you prefer rails, do you like a soft buttery ski or something a little stiffer?

Those bits of info would help people recommend the best ski for your needs.

Also you said you want to spend $400 , but do you want a ski from this season, or would you be happy with an older model.

Give this info you will get some good ski recommendations, hopefully.

alright well im 15, 175 lbs, 5'8", i hit jumps and rails equally, i can hit 60 footers comfortably, and i a rodeo or misty 7 is probly one of my best tricks, and i havnt really tried a super buttery ski, but the flex in my my 2011 stepups was pretty good, and i dont really care what year the ski is from, as long as its good

Well I would probably look for some of the stiffer skis out there, like the AR7 as an example. The AR7 in 176 may be a good choice for you.

The punkx could work but there pretty soft.

Maybe look at the Salomon Rocker 92 if you liked the width of the step ups.

Rossi Scratch could fit the bill nice. I'd say a 174 at your size and ski ability. Backcountry has them on sale right now for $424.00 + free shipping. Deftly one of the more durable high end park skis I'd say.

Another high end park ski I saw was nordica Ace of spades, I've never rode it but I hear its made for skiers hitting bigger stuff in the park. EVO.com has it for $399.00. This might suit your needs pretty well after I read the reivew on it. Seems like a solid park ski. Found this on the AOS over at blisterreviews. http://blistergearreview.com/gear-reviews/2011-2012-nordica-ace-of-spades

Dont know if this will help but good luck!

either AR7's or punx depending on what u want...AR7's are just slightly stiffer than the punx

if you want something that wont snap on you, try the armada el rey. super snappy and handles large jumps incredibly, super stable ski. 490471.jpeg
