Help Buying a Konova K5 Slider

So I've been looking to buy the konova motion k5 slider kit for some time now but have always been nervous ordering. I have heard/seen good things with konova sliders and they are not outrageous in price so im convinced there my best option, but there website/support SUCKS! I have tried contacting them several times and a guy named Frank Shaw always is the person to respond and he clearly does not speak fluent english and it is hard to understand his messages.

This is what I believe I need to have:

a motorized kit slider (link below) and I need to specify the length (150cm), I also need to upgrade to a faster motor (1:100?) which i dont know how to do on the site since there is no box for it, and I also need to add a MV-AD1 Battery Pack. Besides this I think that that is all i need to run the slider and charge the battery. Am I right??? thanks guys kind of a long shot but Im hoping someone out here will have had experience with konova and be able to help me out

So basically I am wondering if anyone knows how to order a 1:100 motor, and if this kit has everything I need to run this slider w/ the motor.

I personally don't know anything about motors, but I'm sure some genius on M&A does. I think you should try talking to someone from B&H on their online chat. They usually help me with anything I need. (If NS doesn't) and because I'm trying to be helpful, I'll embed a EST Time Clock, and B&H's hours just in case.

Forgot to mention the slider is not sold on B&H!!!!!!! which is the reason for this thread there is no other place that sells konova besides konovas site and the only contact info is an email address

Best bang for the buck, you'd be hard pressed to find a slider of equal value for anything close in price.

Thee guys are much cheaper and I have seen some stuff shot with it and it looked pretty good. It may not be what you're looking for and please do your own research to see if their stuff fits the bill, but they look pretty sick.

Looks good but it looks like it is only available with a time-lapse motor that takes 15 minutes to 2 hours long to travel the 6 foot slider. where the konova can be upgraded to move 1 ft in 2 seconds

I found the kits on ebay and amazon and I think ill buy it on amazon i still need to find out who to contact to upgrade the motor because it says on the amazon it will default send you a 1000:1 motor unless further specified but there is no option to upgrade

Yeah contact the seller and ask them about it and they should be able to get that

Ok so I contacted the people at konovas eBay and got everything ordered. It all came today and I couldnt be more happy!!! it runs super smooth!!!!

I figured I would help anyone looking to buy this kit by listing a couple things that you may have problems with due to the fact the slider comes with vague poorly translated instructions.

Note to buyers:

order the limit stoppers for it because without them you will snap the band. I luckily ordered them because I thought they redirected the head when it reached the end of the slide (which they do) but they also stop the slider from trying to continue on the track when it reaches the end

also if you order a 1:100 motor make sure to reset the gear ratio which can be done by holding the mode button then press "go right" followed by a restart, without this the slider will run very choppy.
