Bonjour à tous,

I am making a brand of snowpants called Cobra Apparel, looking for community involvement with features to throw in em. Currently this is what they have…

Ultra Baggy, but only in the right spots. They won’t be hanging down 10” past your boots, dragging on the ground and ripping apart or getting stuck in your bindings clickin in the old twigs.

Taslan Nylon Fabric which is fully waterproof, yet breathable. It’s a heavier material on its own, so it won’t catch the wind and pull you back like a parachute but still light enough you don’t rlly notice them.

Two models will be available, a shell aka ‘Venom’ pants, and a ‘Fang’ version which has a fleece inner lining that’ll keep you toasty on the coldest of days.

They have large zipped waterproof pockets, a metal D ring by the waistband to hook keys, passes, bandana, whatever your heart desires.

Elastic Waistband with belt loops that can fit either our own custom belts, or any of your favorites from Capeesh, etc.

Elastic Cuffs to keep the baggy look, without letting the pants drag below your boots.

Big baggy cargo pocket on the left side with logo embroidery.

Vent zippers with a mesh lining on the inside legs to help cool you down.

Will be available in Black, White, Dark Green, and a Wine Red. They also have a reflective vinyl strip sewn into the right leg stretching all the way down for some added steez for night skiing clips.

The price i’m planning on around $180, which for costs of materials, and time spent sewing every single part of these puppies together is pretty fair considering the quality im going for compared to other brands selling pants using a worse material for twice the price.

Again, looking for peoples thoughts and anything they might want to see on these.

Check out the ig frostbitecobra, the first release is scheduled for around Thanksgiving 24’

Prototype pair :

(keep in mind these were a test, and don’t have most of the features i’m including, so ignore the nasty cargo pocket, slightly short length and blandness)

Built in belt like arsenic pants have is really nice imo. Their zippers are also really high quality and feel nice

It’s funny you mention the zippers because me and a few guys were talking about how much we love the arsenic pants but the only downfall was the zippers suck ass. Me and like 3 other dudes at my local hill all had zippers break

yeah i’m testing out some different sizes + types of zippers, right now i have some masssssive ones, but figured ease of use might be a plus ??‍♂️. the giant zipper will be hidden bc i’m making sure the zippers close down (such a simple thing that a lot of big brands miss)

yeah i’ve heard of and dealt with myself the zippers breaking so that’s something i’m really trying to avoid. I have 30+ days on my prototype pair so far and they’re still holding strong.

If I’m keeping it real with you tho, the arsenic pants are perfect aside from the zippers. I honestly don’t think it can get much better at least for me personally

not looking to compete with dan… love the guy. just looking to provide an alternative of pants that are based on his, while adding my own touch I believe others might like, and trying to give more options (like the shell option). as well as using materials i believe !!might!! be better.

I love my arsenics they’re so heat, but i have had so many issues.. it might just be because i bought the first pair released but damn it was disappointing. Both the zipper pockets zippers broke, and the pockets got holes with just my phone and inhaler in them. Then one of the two front velcro pockets also got a hole, and then my right leg inner seam tore up to my knee. I still fixed it all and use them but it sucked. And it was all in the first month and a half.. I think dan fixed like all pf those issues though when he released the navy v2 ones

Everyone making the same damn baggy cargo pants

love the username… i’m gonna try my best to add some stuff to differentiate myself from the others. again, my main goal is to provide a cheaper option compared to things like harlaut (which i heard are ass tbh anyway), arsenic, any tides etc while keeping the quality the same if not higher. Literally as high as i can f**kin make it.
