Helmets

bern baker. it has too much padding on the top, and vents as well as a glad garbage bag, otherwise no complaints
 
Giro G10, don't know if I'll ever get another helmet, its incredible. Keeps my head warm when I want it to, open the vents and it stays cool, and it has protected me many times. Plus the visor is actually really nice to have, particularly on sunny days haha. And due to the little adjustment thing it fits me perfectly.

white capix wakecap XL probably not the safest thing you could use as a helmet, but it has saved me a few times where no helmet would have left me with a pretty serious concussion. its light, low profile, and quite adjustable.

oh yeah, terribly hard to find as well.
 
Rossignol B-Squad, ultra light and i really like the looks of it, i have the black version with the artsy handwriting...

i wish there was a snowcap that would actually protect my head too (aka certified), they look so dope!
 
Giro G-10, but I fell and cracked it in half. I have a Giro Flint with a chin protector, but I cant rock that outside of AK. Probably go for a Smith or something, customize it with a huge ass visor.
 
im pretty sure its certified. its not one of those visor ones it has like a red tracish look to it but its way lighter

i've been hearing some mumblings about a certified visor capix helmet.

i hope it doesn't end up looking like a bern baker though...

 
not that this is relevant but the capix office is in my town and i could try and go in there and see if they could show me that visor helmet and report back
 
yeah if you look at the SIA article with the pictures of the capix display they have helmets that look like wakecaps, and im pretty sure since they are at sia that they were a wakecap that is certified for snow. also im pretty sure the demand is high enough for a snow certified wakecap, not to mention their site has been down for like a year or two for construction of their new site, and one can only imagine that if it has taken this long for their new site to go up that they are undergoing a massive line change for the company. or at least thats what i think.
